MCJ Casings was originally founded in 1983 and we continually strive to grow a very successful family-owned business for future generations of the Tierney family and our dedicated staff.

We have established ourselves as one of only a handful of independent sausage casing processors left in the UK who manufacture top quality natural sheep and hog casings, supplying to a wide variety of sausage manufacturers, sundries suppliers and retail butchers throughout the UK and Europe.

MCJ Casings is still a family run business with almost 40 years of knowledge and experience within our industry, we pride ourselves on producing and delivering the highest quality of products to all of our customers.

At MCJ, we currently hold the highest BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard) certification standard of Grade AA. This is a highly acclaimed seal of approval on the company’s food safety and quality management systems. We have strict quality control and food safety procedures in place to ensure that all end products are of the highest quality with full traceability.

We have a wide selection of sheep, hog and beef casings available in different calibrations and packaging types to suit our individual customer’s needs. We also stock a full range of butcher’s sundries, offering unique seasoning products so we can provide our customers with all their daily requirements.
